Weekend in Chicago/ bed and breakfast ?

Planning to make a weekend trip to Chicago (from Indianapolis) in December. We are very interested in a tour (such as Culinary) and a bed and breakfast stay. Anyone have any recommondations for either :?? Preferably a guided tour. We have a budget of about $400.00 to work with.

Concerning the Culinary tours...there are tours in the Chicago area which take you to different restaurants and a "Taste" of Chicago....here is one such link: http://www.zerve.com/ChicagoFoods/CFTour and unfortuneately it only runs during the spring-fall. You might want to email them to see if they can suggest some kind of tour for your Culinary needs. Enjoy especially since you'll be here during the holiday season!
2. Bed and Breakfasts are not as common in Chicago as in other parts of the country. I'm not sure why, but there are mostly hotels and motels around here. 2 I found that look reputable are the Windy City Inn at windycityinn.com, the Old Town Bed and Breakfast at oldtownchicago.com and the House 5863 Inn at house5863.com. You might map them and see which is closest to the location in the city you need to go.
