What are your opinions on le cord on bleu verses johnson and wales culinary schools?

Public Comments

  1. Cordon Bleu all the way!
  2. I went through the Le Cord on Bleu textbook and it was awesome. I had a friend that went to Johnson and Wales and she really loved their pastry program.
  3. I attended le cordon bleu in Las Vegas for several months. I was very unhappy with the way things were done. $ 40,000.00 is a lot of money! I was able to get out with out owing any money. Some people quit but still owed money.
  4. Le Cordon Bleu’s role as an educational leader at the forefront of the hospitality industry, has been their mission and as they continue to work closely with their industry peers to meet current and future needs. They have been successful at extending the classroom experience through the addition of support materials such as books, digital tools and on-line learning. They partner with other leaders in gastronomy, culture and education. Through strong consulting and licensing, they are able to adapt their expertise to any need and fill any gap. Johnson & Wales University is pleased to offer Chef’s Choice, an innovative program of hands-on cooking classes taught by professional chef instructors. These classes, taught in Johnson & Wales’ state of the art facility on select Saturdays through the school year, are open to the public and appeal to all culinary skill levels. From novices, to intermediate level cooks, to serious amateurs this program offers something for everyone. The minimum age requirement to participate in Chef’s Choice classes is 16 years old; 21 years of age for wine classes. Kind regards,
