How do you become a culinary arts teacher????

I want to go to school to be a culinary arts teacher but I can't find info on what degrees or anything... Does anyone know?

5. Find a good culinary arts school.
6. First you have to become a chef. Then you can start teaching at the local community college. Then you can move on to a larger school from there. I know someone who stopped after teaching at community college. The thing about teaching this trade, is that you can't just go to school to become a teacher. It's more important that you have restaurant experience as a chef. And then you teach that experience to the students. You don't have to have a teaching degree unless you'll be teaching HS students.
7. I would start by getting a culinary arts degree. If you go ahead and get a B.A. degree you can get teacher certified in your state. Teacher Certification laws are different per state. (if you live in Fl, you can get certified in 9 months online) Use that degree, certification and experience to get that job. Paul Smith's College in NY is a good school.
