help me before i die of pain omgg?
uhm yeah.. how can you make a numbing agent.. im in culinary school and constantly getting the ends of my fingers with the knife.. my chef suggested numbing my fingers with something so it at least doesnt hurt as much.. but how can i make stuff at home??..... uhm.. i dont want to hear other comments like *BE CAREFUL!* or *TRY THIS INSTEAD!* thanks for the ideas but.. no. i need numbing stuff and thats it kthnx.

- my aunt has special rubber tips that she ordered online that she puts on the end of her fingers kind of like thimbals only tighter and saintary (ouch!!)
- I know you don't want to hear but but tough. I'm a mom at heart, I can't help myself. Not just a mom but a mom of one chef and one chef in training at the culinary institute You could lose an entire finger if you aren't careful. When you cut yourself you jerk back with the knife before going all the way through, right? Well, if you can't feel it you're just gonna slice the whole tip of your finger off. I couldn't believe anyone who works in a kitchen would think this is a good idea and called my son (the working sous chef). He asked if you're going to school in SF, they've got so many imbecils teaching there that the law suits are piling up. Anyway, he thinks it's about the worst idea he's ever heard. He did say to tell you to hang in there, those slices are what you learn from, every chef in training goes through it. I could tell you the story about my younger son, at the culinary institute who didn't know he was missing part of his finger because it stayed in the glove when he took it off :).
