Culinary arts and a state university ?

I want to attend a state university and have some kind of degrees in art and music, but I also want to have a degree in culinary arts. If you want to cook, isnt it true that you can only go to culinary schools, that only offer culinary arts training, because no state universities have that as programs at their schools .? Because it would cost me way too much money to go to culinary school and a university... and i dont know what id rather do... ?

1. No you can go to an art school for culinary, or just a school that offers culinary, a lot do. My boyfriend is at the art institute of california studying culinary right now.
