Culinary Schools in Ohio?

I've been thinking about becoming a chef and I was wondering where I could find a good reputable school around Northwestern Ohio. Also I heard Culinary Schools aren't exactly like a college where as I ONLY taking cooking classes instead of pre-reqs like English and Philosophy, is this true? Also anyone who has some valuable insight on becoming a chef and what to do to become one would be appreciated.

1. Cincinnati State haas a Culinary Arts major or certificate program. Check out the website for more information. In the major curriculum, it looks like you do have to take some basic general education courses. But at Cincy State, they should be pretty easy. If you only want the certificate, you just have to take food related night courses.
