How do i arrange a working holiday for 10 teenagers in tuscany? We have been advised to try "agritourism" as a way of seeing Italy cheaply - holidays where you stay on a farm and help with the harvest, so your board is a little cheaper. Unfortunately when I search on the internet I can only find family holidays and "peaceful getaways" - not at all what we're looking for really! We want a holiday that's cheap and cheerful and where we can all muck in and lend a hand. Any ideas how to go about booking a holiday like this? Possibly you have to contact the farms direct - if so would appreciate contact details. HAS ANYONE EVER TAKEN A HOLIDAY LIKE THIS? PLEASE SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE! thanks a bunch TW xxx
How to sell in the US market an agritourism business located in Italy (property and lincenses altogether)? A friend of mine owns an agritourism business (I don't know if you are familiar with the term "agritourism", but it's sort of a hotel in concept, but more like a ranch, where you can ride horses and all, and find comfortable lodging at the same time) in Italy, about an hour north of Rome in a very unique place (it is surrounded by archeological sites of the ancient Etruscan Civilization and, needless to say, that you have easy access to Rome and all the wonderful things you can find there). This kind of business if very popular in Italy, not only with foreigns, but among the locals as well. Anyway, he thought many Americans would be interested in owning such a nice property (and I agree with him) but he does not speak English fluently, so he asked me to help him out. On the other hand, I'm not American myself, so I'm not sure how to go about in announcing or selling that type of property America wide. What kind of Real Estate agency would help out, for instance? Please, help!! Thanks
